BJP Wins a thumping majority in Gujarat polls, Congress Wins Himachal, AAP took MCD From BJP:

Bhartiya Janta Party Won 149 seats in Gujrat and formed Government Continuously for the 6th time. BJP fought this election keeping the face of popular prime minister Shri Narendra Modi. In this election, the third front Aam Aadmi Party also participated Actively but the people of Gujarat didn't show much interest in the third front however AAP took 8-9 per cent of the vote which is considered a good entry for any new party in any new state. According to experts, AAP is the biggest reason for congress's failure in the state. Experts said that non-BJP votes split between AAP and Congress which provides Bjp a thumping majority in the state however BJP claimed it was a win of the agenda of Vikas under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi.

Winning a straight 6th election in any region of the country is a huge achievement for any political party. BJP overcame the anti-incumbency factor with the magical face of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. PM actively participated in the Gujarat elections and did several rallies and road shows.

The Himachal Assembly election was a very close fight between Congress and BJP. Congress fought this election very strategically. Congress kept Priyanka Gandhi as a star pracharak which worked very well for them. Congress grabbed 40 seats and Bjp managed to get 25 seats where 3 independent candidates won. even though the margin between bjp and congress in terms of vote share is merely 1%. but bjp is not able to convert that vote share into seats as congress did. it is a huge setback for bjp's campaign of Congress mukt Bharat. currently, congress has its government in three states Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, and Himachal.

AAP Won the MCD Election by a comfortable margin. AAP won 135 seats and BJP won 103 seats Congress won 9 seats and others won 3 seats. AAP kept the face of the election as their chief minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal and put Garbage mountain's issue in Delhi and people awarded them the majority.
