It Could be last IPL for Dhoni:-

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has been a platform for many cricketers to showcase their talent and also a place for veterans to prolong their careers. One such veteran is former Indian captain and legendary wicket-keeper-batsman, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Dhoni has been an integral part of the IPL since its inception and has led the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to three IPL titles.

However, there are speculations that IPL 2023 could be the last IPL for Dhoni. Dhoni will be 42 years old by the time IPL 2023 starts and with age catching up, it is natural for people to speculate about his future in cricket. Dhoni himself has not given any indication about his retirement plans and has always maintained that he will take it one game at a time.

Dhoni's performances in the IPL have been consistent over the years, but he did have a poor season in IPL 2021, where he managed to score only 81 runs in seven innings at an average of 20.25. However, he did show glimpses of his vintage self in IPL 2022, where he scored 429 runs in 15 innings at an average of 35.75 with a strike rate of 145.76.

If IPL 2023 is indeed the last IPL for Dhoni, it will be an emotional moment for not just CSK fans but for cricket fans all over the world. Dhoni has been a great servant of Indian cricket and has won countless matches for India with his calm and composed captaincy along with his brilliant wicket-keeping skills and ability to finish games with the bat.

In conclusion, while there are speculations about IPL 2023 being the last IPL for Dhoni, nothing has been confirmed yet. Dhoni still has a lot of cricket left in him and it will be interesting to see how he performs in the upcoming seasons of the IPL.
